2018 GISS-Western Pennsylvania

GISS-Western PA – March 12-13, 2018, at Community College of Allegheny College

ACCT is happy to bring the Governance Institute for Student Success (GISS) to Western Pennsylvania with the support of several college districts in the region. The purpose of the 2018 GISS-Western, PA, is to create an educational opportunity for the leadership team of trustees and presidents to engage in meaningful dialogue and planning around governing for student success.

This year’s institute serves to take the college’s student success agenda to the next level and provides opportunities for colleges to review data, both for the board self-assessment and progress for student achievement. Colleges will share promising practices and cover current topics important to the state’s colleges. The goal is to help boards support their college’s student success agendas.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Institutional teams consisting of trustees and the president are most effective. All board members are encouraged to attend.  Other participants that the CEO would like to invite (e.g., vice presidents of student success, institutional researchers, etc.) are also welcome. All attendees are expected to participate in the entire institute.
